The ceremony brought together government officials, traditional and community leaders, Assembly Members and other stakeholders to formalise the new leadership of the district.

As part of the proceedings, nine Government Appointees, including a woman and a Person With Disability (PWD), were sworn into office, highlighting efforts to promote broader representation in local governance.

The Member of Parliament for Nanton and the Northern Regional Minister commended the nominee and urged Assembly Members and stakeholders to support the district’s development agenda.

After the confirmation, the newly appointed DCE expressed appreciation for the confidence placed in him and pledged to serve the people of Nanton with commitment and integrity.

The Assembly said the meeting marked an important step in strengthening local governance and advancing development in the district.
