"I will deliver my best for Nana Addo gov’t to succeed"- MCE

The Municipal Chief Executive for Kwahu West municipal Assembly, Mr. Yaw Owusu Addo has assured the president of the republic of Ghana and the people in the municipality that he will provide the best in him for the Akufo-Addo government to succeed.

He made this known at the second ordinary meeting of the second session of the Kwahu west Municipal Assembly, which was held at the Municipal Assembly Hall.

In an interview with the media after the meeting, the MCE said, “our aim is not mass wealth for ourselves we are here to seek the welfare of the people”. He said this while admitting that there were many development concerns that needed to be addressed in the municipality.

Mr. Addo said, it is very important to organize assembly meeting at least every three months as the law stated to know the challenges and needs in the municipality and how best to address them.

The MCE highlighted programs, projects and activities of the assembly and some government policy decisions to be executed by his Administration.

He emphasized the need for the co-operation and unity among all the assembly members, departmental heads, traditional authorities and all other stakeholders in and planning and implementation of the programs that will be for the benefits of the people in the municipality.

“We are going to double our effort for the betterment of the people in the area and I believe Kwahu west will be the best place to leave”. He said

We will collaborate with all stakeholders devoid of political affiliations as the President has charge us for the development of the municipality.
