Akuapem North distributes motorbikes

Assembly Members in Akuapem North Municipal Assembly on Monday 13th December, 2021 received a brand new Supreme Star Motorbikes to facilitate their work in their various communities.

Presenting the Bikes, the MCE of the area, Barima Awuah Sarpong Asiedu Larbi said, the bikes were being distributed at the time when the year was getting to the end, adding that this would serve as a Christmas package to the Members of the house.

He said the bikes should motivate members to work extra harder to achieve the needs of their respective communities. He emphasized that the motorbikes were meant to facilitate and lessen the anguish of each member’s movement at his or her respective area of jurisdiction.

Again, the distribution of these motors should nip in the bud, all complaints about transportation which often was used as an excuse for late attendance to assembly meetings and many other important gatherings at the community, he added.

He then advised Assemblymembers to put the Motors to good use but not to sell them to disabuse the intention of which they were given.

On behalf of the Presiding Member, Hon Griffith Bonsu an Assembly Member for Ahenbronmu electoral area in Akropong received the keys on behalf of all Assembly Members.

He thanked the MCE for his unqualified efforts for the timely arrival of the motors.
