Gonsee School Nears Completion

The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Weija-Gbawe Constituency and Deputy Minister (designate) for Health, Hon. Tina Naa Ayele Mensah and the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, Hon. Patrick Kumor have commended Rosehill Ghana Limited, the contractors on the Gonsee basic school project for the fast pace of the project.

A visit to the school site by the two, accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Mrs. Mercy Quansah Ogoe and some heads of departments of the Municipal Assembly on Tuesday, 18th May 2021, saw workers busily doing some plastering on the outside, having finished with the interior.

The Managing Director of Rosehill Ghana Ltd, Mr. Manfred Frimpong, acknowledging the thumbs up from the two personalities, said it is his company's policy to execute projects ahead of schedule and they are committed to that, especially with the school project.

The two storey Common Fund project, initiated by the MP and supported by the Municipal Assembly, when completed will have eleven (11) units classrooms, offices, a library and toilets.

A ground breaking ceremony was performed jointly by the MP and the MCE on Wednesday, 2nd December 2020 for the project which is expected to be completed in twelve (12) calendar months.

Presently, work done is estimated at seventy-five (75) percent.

Mr. Manfred Frimpong (MD) promised to hand over the project by the end of June 2021.
