DCE distributes PPEs to JHSs in the districts

The District Executive of Kwahu East Assembly has donated PPEs to Junior High schools in the Kwahu East District in the Eastern Region to help prevent COVID-19 in schools.

Handing over the items to the District Director of Education, Mr.Isaac Agyapong said, the presentation was being made on behalf of the President, H.E. Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in fulfillment of his promise to provide all schools with PPEs on reopening of schools.

Mr. Isaac Agyapong said the President has proven time and again that it has education at heart and must be commended for that, he also said President Akufo-Addo understands that it is his responsibility to protect every Ghanaian life and he is committed to doing just that and entreated all and various to support the President.

Amongst the items presented were 122 thermometer guns, 1,683 Hand Sanitizers, 3,366 nose mask, 30 gallons of soap and veronica buckets for onward distribution in all Junior High Schools in the Kwahu-East District.

DCE said this is to help protect the students from getting the deadly Coronavirus and spreading it amongst the student population.
