Kwahu East DCE tours WASSCE Centres

The District Chief Executive, Isaac Agyapong, of Kwahu-East District together with the District Director of Education visited all the senior high schools and technical schools to monitor the ongoing final year SHS students Examination with the District.

Mr. Isaac Agyapong on behalf of the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo encouraged the students and advised them to observe all the COVID-19 protocols as they write their examination.

The DCE who extended his best wishes to the candidates on Monday when he toured the WASSCE centres in the Kwahu East District also admonished the candidates to continue to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols by washing their hands frequently with soap under running water, using alcohol-based sanitizers, wearing a nose mask at all times as well as ensuring some reasonable distance.

He also advised the students against any Examination Malpractice.

Mr. Agyapong also commended the school authorities for ensuring that candidates and invigilators were in strict compliance with the COVID- 19 protocols and urged candidates to mask up at all times even when they leave the school premises.

In all, 3,080 free SHS candidates are taking part in the Examination in the Kwahu-East District.
