MCE distributes free Masks and Sanitizers

The Municipal Chief Executive of the Kwahu South Municipal Assembly, Mr. Emmanuel Atta Ofori has distributed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Mpraeso Market traders and Atibie Zongo.

The items which included boxes of hand sanitizers and reusable cloth nose masks were distributed to the vulnerable in the Municipality as part of the Assembly’s efforts to contain the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

Mr. Emmanuel Atta said "as part of measures put in place to limit the spread of the virus, this equipment is being given to you to help fight the pandemic.

MCE in his address pleaded with them to continue to wear the nose mask and use the sanitizers regularly and also shouldn’t forget the social distancing.

"We all know it's a market place and there can't be enough social distancing but that doesn't stop the use of nose masks and sanitizers.

Let's all adhere to the safety protocols so that we can all be safe," he said. He also entreated them to get vaccinated when the opportunity comes.

The recipients were grateful to the Municipal Chief Executive and assured him that they will continue to stick to the rules and adhere to all the protocols.
