Nsuaem Market Women receive financial assistant
About twenty market women in Aboso Nsuaem in the Prestea Huni-Valley Constituency have received financial assistance from the member of Parliament for the Prestea Hun-Valley constituency.

The money which was taken from the Obaatanpa Microloan Scheme which is an initiative by the MP to provide financial freedom to women in her constituency. A total of ten thousand (10,000.00) Ghana Cedis was given out as a loan to the market women to be paid when they make a profit from their business. The money was given to them during the commissioning of a new mini-market built for the people of Nsuaem.
The Member of Parliament also cut the sod for the construction of teachers’ quarters at Nsuaem. Performing the official sod-cutting, the Member of Parliament said the construction of the teacher’s quarters has become necessary at the municipality and the entire community as it will prevent teachers from staying at Aboso with the excuse that there is no accommodation for them.
Lawyer Oteng-Gyasi explained that even though the budget of the assembly was exhausted at the time of the request of the chief for staff quarters, she went out to solicit for support from companies of which she managed to get a financier for the project. She added that she was not happy with the fact that the women of Nsuaem had to sell on the street, that was why she constructed a mini-market for them.
