The durbar served to introduce the new Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Samuel Adongo, and provided a platform to discuss key issues including staff punctuality, welfare, and general operational matters.
In his address, Hon. Adongo expressed his privilege in convening the gathering, emphasizing its importance for management and staff interaction. He encouraged full participation in the dialogue, stressing the value of sharing ideas for the Assembly's progress.

The MCE underscored the need for strong work ethics, reminding staff that their roles carry a profound responsibility to positively impact the lives of citizens. He further encouraged a workplace culture built on collaboration, mutual support, kindness, and respect.
Prior to the durbar, the MCE held separate meetings with various Heads of Departments to familiarize himself with their core functions and mandates.

The Municipal Coordinating Director, Mr. Ndinga Nborinyi, also addressed the staff. He highlighted essential values such as a positive attitude towards work, fostering good human relationships, teamwork, and the collective role in implementing government policies.
The forum included an interactive session where staff raised questions and offered suggestions, all of which were addressed by the management team.
