Assembly meets Traditional Authorities over Secondary Cities support project (GSCSP)
The management of New Juaben South led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Isaac Appaw-Gyasi paid a working visit to the Omanhene, Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III, of the New Juaben Traditional Area including his council of elders to engage and update them on the 2nd phase of the ongoing redevelopment of the Koforidua Jackson Park.

Mr. Isaac Appaw-Gyasi presented pictorial evidence based of the phase one of the Jackson Park to the council for verification and take their inputs for the phase two of the project.
According to MCE, New Juaben South Municipal Assembly as entity is very intense in dealing with matters which help bring development within the Municipality. He continued to say, the phase one of the project is about ninety-five percent (95%) done, therefore, proactively, management as per their usual routine, find it thoughtful to engage all stakeholders before the commence of phase two which is UDG3 of the Ghana Secondary Cities and support programme (GSCSP).
Following the presentation and the report from the three (3) member site inspection committee set-up by the Omanhene, Daasebre Nana Kwaku Boateng III, suggested and advised the entourage from the Assembly, specifically management in charge of the project to correct and fix all challenges that decelerated the phase one. He added that, Jackson Park serves as a place for all traditional activities such as funeral, durbar etc. therefore it is the heart of the people of New Juaben which needs accepted designs to cater for its purpose.
In response to issues raised by the Traditional council, Mr. Isaac Appaw-Gyasi said, the Park is well planned to scale to accommodate all sort of events as cited. He expounded to say, all inputs made ahead of the phase two will be documented to support to designs and drawings for an effective and efficient work done.
Municipal Coordinating director, Mr. Edward Abazing, Municipal Finance Officer, Mr. Felix Quakye Quainoo; Municipal Planning Officer, Madam Iris Dalaba, Municipal Engineer, Mr. Sam Takyi, Municipal Information Officer, who also doubled as the Public Relations Officer, Collins Aikins Akuffo; the Project consultant (SOMAN CONSULT), Mr. Charles Ababio etc. were all present to grace the occasion.
