DCE presents furniture to schools in the district

The District Chief Executive for Atiwa East District in the Eastern Region, Kwabena Panyin Nkansah has presented furniture comprising about 500 dual and 300 mono desks, to schools in communities within the area.

The gesture was part of the effort to improve teaching and learning as well as alleviate congestion in the schools.

In an interview with Ghanadistricts.com at the Climate Chance Summit 2019 in Accra, Mr. Nkansah said he was committed to improving education in the area to complement President Akufo Addo’s pledge of ensuring every Ghanaian child has access to quality education.

He, therefore, pledged to provide the necessary resources for schools within the Atiwa East district as part of his effort to make the president’s vision of improving the quality of education possible.

The DCE also pledged that he will do more by providing infrastructure, teaching and learning materials and the needed resources needed to improve the quality of education within the district.
