This, he said, would go a long way in helping to improve sanitation and prevention of diseases in the communities.
It would also assist the government to concentrate on other major social amenities such as the provision of school blocks, roads, health facilities and portable drinking water among other things to alleviate the plight of the people.
Mr Amoako made the call when he inaugurated a 32-seater water closet toilet facility including 10 bathrooms constructed by Madam Fuseina Maud Williams, an estate developer and a philanthropist for the people of Kujo, a suburb of Nsawam.
Mr Amoako said the responsibility of the government in meeting the needs of the citizenry was so enormous and therefore there was the need for philanthropists, institutions, non-government organisations and the well-endowed in society to help in developing the country.
He advised the people to take good of the facility by keeping it and its surroundings clean and tidy at all times.
The DCE commended Madam Fuseina Maud Williams for her individual contribution towards the facelift of the Kujo community and called on other selfless persons in society to emulate her good example by supporting the government in its efforts in making life worthwhile for the rural communities.
