Akuapim South gives to Persons with Disability

Placeholder image On Tuesday 13th of October 2020, there was distribution of various items to Persons with Disability at Adaborabe, in accordance with the guidelines for disbursement of the Disability Fund in the Akuapim South Municipal Assembly.

The occasion witnessed the presence of the Hon. Member of Parliament for the Akuapem South Constituency, Hon. O.B. Amoah, the Municipal Chief Executive of Akuapem South Municipal Assembly, Hon. Frank Aidoo and Chiefs and people of Adaborabe Community.

A total number of thirty-four (34) PWDs, which includes hearing and speech impaired, physically challenged among others were benefited from the fund. The aim of this support is to empower all PWDS in the Municipality to be self-sustaining and economically independent. Some of the items given out included 1 corn mill, 23 deep freezers, 2 Popcorn machines, 2 Industrial sewing machines, 2 Laptops, 20 cutlasses, 2 sewing machines and cash amount
