The engagement provided an opportunity to share updates on government and municipal development initiatives while listening to the concerns, challenges and priorities of residents.

Residents received updates on key initiatives, including education and scholarship opportunities, as well as the 24-hour economy market currently under construction at Pokrom.

The various departments also addressed issues relating to building permits, healthcare, youth development, responsible consumption and Ghana Card registration and related matters. Residents were given the opportunity to ask questions, raise concerns and share challenges affecting the community.

As a gesture of appreciation for his continued support and commitment to the development of Obodan, the Obodan Odwira Committee presented a gift to the MCE and extended an invitation to him to participate in this year’s Odwira Festival.

The engagement reaffirmed the importance of community participation and collaboration in advancing local development.
