ASUTIFI N: CSOs launch fundraising on COVID-19
HACK COVID-19 is an initiative designed by the CSOs in the Asutifi North District, Ahafo Region.

The Project HACK COVID 19 was launched online to fight against COVID-19 and called for support to make the initiative a success.
The main purpose of the Project HACK COVID 19, is to create awareness, to prevent the District from recording a case of COVID-19 and mobilize and build the capacity of Community Health Volunteers and Frontline Team in the District, should there be any recorded case.
Since COVID-19 is a pandemic disease, we ought to support the Government to combat it. By so doing, we appeal to the general public, companies, and philanthropists to support the initiative for a worthy cause said Mr. Emmanuel Marfo HACK COVID 19 Project Technical Advisor.
He also reiterated that the budget for the Project is GHs12,000.
Furthermore, by creating awareness, public education must go through local radio stations and community information centers.
The initiative will supply preventive tools like 100 nose masks, 200 sanitizers, 6 bundles of disposable tissue and 40 dustbins to hospitals, CHIPS compound, market stores, public latrines, the needy and vulnerable.
Moreover, 200 Community Health Volunteers and Staff and Frontlines Team will help supply essentials like food, water and many more to people who will be quarantined and isolated if any case is recorded in the District he added.
