Heavy rainstorm hits Pudua and Likambol Communities
A number of residents were rendered homeless following the destruction of over seventy three (73) households a rainstorm that hit Pudua and Likambol and surrounding communities in the Nanumba South District last Sunday.

The downpour which lasted for hours, affected forty two (42) houses at Padua with three 3 houses completely ripped off whiles at Likambol, a total of thirty one (31) houses were affected with seven (7) completely ripped off.
Speaking to Ghanadistricts.com, the District Chief Executive of the area Natogmah Ibrahim Mutakaila, who synpathised with the affected people said it would be important to seek for support for them and promised to liaise with the relevant institutions for support.
He mentioned that looking at the extent of damages, he will solicit support for the victims as soon as practicable and therefore called on government and other benevolent organizations to assist in reroofing the affected houses and build the collapsed ones.
He added that they will be carrying out educational campaigns to sensitize the people on what people need to do in case of another downpour.
