The programme is expected to address some of the road challenges facing the predominantly rural communities, while making it easier for residents to access markets, schools, health facilities and other essential services.

The Assembly believes improved road networks will also facilitate the movement of farm produce, strengthen local trade and create better opportunities for economic activity across Nanumba South.

The launch marks a step towards improving road infrastructure and supporting the socio-economic development of communities in the district.
