KWAHU S: 3-unit classroom for Kwafour D/A school
The Kwahu South District Assembly is constructing a three-unit classroom block with ancillary facilities for the Kwafour D/A Basic School in the area.

The ultra-modern facility was funded through the Assembly's share of the District Assemblies Common fund (DACF).
Announcing this at the Assembly's Third Ordinary Meeting, District Chief Executive of the Area, Mr Emmanuel Atta-Ofori, said the development was a clear indication of the assembly’s firm position to ensure quality education especially, in the rural communities.
He said the Assembly has initiated numerous education projects aimed at improving the standards of education in the area, adding that education was one of the major priorities of the government geared towards the training of the needed human resource to contribute to the growth and development of the country.
He said the project will soon be completed to ensure its intended purpose.
In a related development, the DCE further disclosed to Assembly Members about the construction of a new teachers quarters at Nkyenekyene, a farming community in the district.
He said work on the project had been delayed due to some technical anomalies but was hopeful that the matter would soon be resolved to enable work resume on the project.
