The Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Kwahu Afram Plains South in the Eastern Region, Thomas Seidu Hamidu has emphasized that the NPP will make it difficult for the main opposition party National Democratic Congress (NDC) to run the Free SHS policy initiated by his government, should they return to power in future.

According to the vibrant and energetic young politician, the NDC party which is known to be autocratic having these 'yentie obiaa' syndrom of governance, should have sent a delegation to the sitting President Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo to explain and educate them on how the most applauded policy in his government, Free Senior High School is being managed and financed in the country.

He further stated that "entourage from other countries even travel to Ghana just to hail us for implementing Free Senior High Education meanwhile the NDC is in this country making a lot of noise on this all important policy praying it collapses. This to me, is an indication that the NDC will definitely mess up with the policy and absolutely reverse it should they be given another chance to govern"

He then sighted a scenario where the Free Maternal Care, National Health Insurance, the School Feeding Programme among other policies introduced by the Kufour administration collapsed under the watch of the NDC because they did not seek briefing as to how it was managed during former President Kuffuor's administration.

Additionally, Thomas Seidu Hamidu stated that the source of financing the program is yet not known to the NDC party since they have an ideology of keeping the oil money for the youth in so called future.

The controversial Communications Director who made this known to Ghanadistricts.com. after a district tour by the District Chief Executive of the area, Hon. George Ofori and the Minister for Agric, Hon. Owusu Afriyie Akoto last Saturday to assess the condition of about 275 hectors folder banks allocate to house over 60000 cattles in the area ceased the opportunity to acknowledge efforts made by government to assemble all the cattle in the area into Folder Banks to enhance proper farming.

Thomas Seidu Hamidu then advised Ghanaians not to take the NDC party serious anymore because the One Term Premium Health Insurance they promised during 2008 campaign did not see the light of the day but rather collapsed the National Health Insurance Scheme program leaving a total debt of 1.5 billion Ghana Cedis in their eight years which the current NPP government has been able to settle 1billion Ghana Cedis in just 21 months adding that "a vote for the NDC is a vote against the smooth running of Free Senior High School education".
