Agormanya market gets 188 lockable market stores

Traders in Lower Manya Krobo and its environs have been blessed with a huge market edifice of 188 lockable stores with storage facility to cater for their trading needs.

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for the area, Simon Tetteh stated that 72 markets shed with their storage facilities have been completed, adding that the magnificent project would enable the traders to operate in a healthy and conducive environment.

The MCE assured that construction of the remaining stores is steadily progressing.

The project funded through the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) is one of the measures by the assembly to boost economic activities in the area as farming and trading forms major economic undertakings of the people.

The market is one of the centres that supply various market centres with farm produce because of its proximity to the capital; and the development is a welcome one.
