DCE pays courtesy call on public institutions

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere Central Mr. Benjamin Kingsley Koduah has paid courtesy call on the Management of some public institutions in the District to strengthen the existing relationship between the District Assembly and public institutions that render various services to members of the District.

Some of the institutions visited were Mampong Technical College of Education, Akenteng Appiah- Minka University of Skills Training, Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) and Public Utility service providers like the Asante-Mampong offices of the Electricity Company of Ghana and the Ghana Water Company Ltd and others.

The DCE interacting with the Heads of these institutions underscored the need to strengthen existing relations between them and the District Assembly, the need for effective collaboration between both parties aimed at fostering positive outcomes with mutual benefits to the District and its people as well as these institutions.

He ceased the opportunity to express gratitude to these institutions for their services to people of the District while highlighting pending challenges that need their intervention as well as potential developmental avenues that could be tapped into to help improve the wellbeing of people.

The heads of these institutions on their part expressed profound gratitude to the DCE and his delegation for the visit which they described as a step in the right direction and therefore pledged their continuous commitment in the discharge of their services to the District and to be partners of the development drive of the District Assembly.
