DCE commissions 10-seater toilet facility

Mr. Kwasi Karikari Achamfuor, the District Chief Executive (DCE) for Afigya Kwabre North, has commissioned a ten (10) seater toilet facility and a mechanized borehole at Soko, a community in the district.

The project is aimed at improving sanitation and hygiene in the community.

According to the DCE, it was critical to construct a place of convenience for the inhabitants in order to maintain a high level of sanity and hygiene. He was also confident that the facility would go a long way to help deal with open defecation and will help keep the community away from preventable diseases.

Mr. Achamfuor pledged his commitment in ensuring constant development in the District.

"I remain committed in my quest to ensure that development is brought to the good people of Afigya Kwabre North and would like to thank all stakeholders involved in making this reality" he said.

He then urged the people of Soko to take good care of the facility to help serves its intended purpose.
