State Experimental School at Nhyiaeso gets 33-unit classroom block

The new facility, which includes a library, computer laboratory, headmaster's office, and staff common room, replaces the old, dilapidated structure that had served the school for decades.
The intervention was sparked by a JoyNews report two years ago that drew national attention to the school’s poor learning conditions.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Amoah thanked the Mayor, Metro Education Directorate, school authorities, traditional leaders, and all stakeholders for their collaboration. He emphasized that quality education is a collective responsibility and called on all stakeholders to continue playing their part.
The Mayor, Hon. Boadi, commended Dr. Amoah for his commitment to education and pledged the Assembly’s continued support toward providing safe, modern learning environments across the Metropolis. He also encouraged students to study hard and strive for excellence.
Metro Director of Education, Mr. David Oppong, described the project as a significant boost to teaching and learning. Headteacher Joana Anokyewaa expressed deep gratitude to the MP and assured that the facility will be well maintained.
The commissioning ceremony was graced by the MP for Bantama, Hon. Francis Asenso-Boakye, Metro Coordinating Director Francis Dwira Darko Hon.Assembly Members, traditional leaders, teachers, parents, and pupils.
