The visit forms part of efforts to ensure quality and timely execution of projects under the government’s BIG PUSH agenda. Currently, construction is actively ongoing on the strategic road network linking the Upper West Region to the North East Region, Savannah Region, Upper East Region, and the Northern Region.

At the project site, the contractor was seen working with heavy equipment as visible progress continues on the ground, bringing renewed hope to residents and road users within and beyond the district.

Mr Sayibu also proceeded to Kunyebin to inspect ongoing works on the Kunyebin Bridge. The bridge project, which is progressing steadily, is expected to improve connectivity and facilitate socio-economic activities in the area once completed.

The DCE expressed satisfaction with the pace of work and reiterated that the Resetting Agenda remains firmly on course, emphasizing that leadership must not only plan but also show up to ensure results.

The progress recorded so far reflects strong collaboration between central government and district authorities. Appreciation was extended to His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the Minister for Roads, the Member of Parliament for Wa East, Godfred Seidu Jasaw, and the District Chief Executive, Hon. Adamu Sayibu, for their dedication and commitment to transforming Wa East through infrastructure development.
