Dormaa East host boot camp for Women-led Startups
Seventy Young entrepreneurial women at Dormaa East District learned how to pursue and develop business opportunities during the Women in Business Accelerator (WiBA) Start-up Boot Camp, held at wamfie.

The boot camp, organised by the Women Advocacy Network-HIVE Ghana was funded by the World Bank, Ministry of Finance and National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Plan (NEIP).
During the boot camp, participants learned how to develop successful, resilient businesses in sectors such as Food processing, Fashion designing, cosmology and Agribusiness and many more.
Experienced entrepreneurs such as Bright Owusu, CEO-Bright and God enterprises, Reindolph Afrifa-Oware, the District Head of IT and CEO of GH AROW Productions and Matilda Mahu of Mallia Glory Haven, nurtured participants through business developments, financial management and Digital Marketing Strategies that would enable their business growth and sustainability.
The finale of the intensive, one-day training event was a pitch competition where teams of participants presented their business models to a panel of judges. Five teams were selected to proceed at the next stage for a regional competition in preparation for the national Presidential pitch.
