NKORANZA S: MUSEC ready to flash out Fulani herdsmen and their cattle - MCE

For about twenty years now, Fulani's herdsmen and their cattle issues had been a major problem in our motherland - Ghana, the Municipal Chief Executive for Nkoranza South told the media.

Hon. Daina Attaa Kusiwaa lamented that, nobody can receive any amount of money from the cattle owners to accept their Fulani herdsmen and their cattle in the Nkoranza South Municipality.

The MCE expressed her worries about an alleged money that has exchanged hands between the cattle owners and some opinion leaders in the municipality, and assured that cannot be true.

Hon. Kusiwaa said, there had been a monitoring team that is always doing its monitoring around the areas where cattle and the Fulani's were said to have destroyed farms and other things. She said the police patrol team is helping to combat and drive away the Fulani herdsmen and their cattle out of the Nkoranza South constituency.

Madam Daina Attaa Kusiwaa assured the people that the Municipal Security Council (MUSEC), and her administration are ever ready to solve this Fulani menace, and has thus appealed to all the good people of Nkoranza South, especially the farmers to remain calm and support her and the municipal assembly including the Nkoranza Traditional Council to flash out the Fulani herdsmen and their cattle from the municipality and pave way for farmers to have better results from their toils.
