NKORANZA S: MCE assures residents of their protection

The Chairperson of the Nkoranza South Municipal Security Council and Municipal Chief Executive of the Nkoranza Municipal Assembly, Diana Attaa Kusiwaa has assured chiefs and people of the municipality of their protection.

She said MUSEC will continue to play its role to make sure people’s lives and property are protected at all times, so that in the midst of prevailing peaceful environment people can go about their economic activities for the good of all and sundry.

The MCE gave the assurance when she joined the Nkoranza Traditional Council for the commissioning of a temporal office to be used by the Council following the ban on the use of the main office.



Madam Attaa Kusiwaa stated that the assembly recognized the role of the Council hence decided to support them with the temporal office until the conflict that led to the ban is resolved.

She however called on them to make sure cool heads prevail among the traditional councils to enable them effectively contribute to the development of the municipality.



Acting President and also the Ankobeahene of Nkoranza Traditional Council, Oheneba Nana Agyei Baffoe and the elders of the land were very delighted about the temporal office of the Nkoranza Traditional Council.

Nana Agyei Baffoe pleaded for the lifting of the band on their regular office. He however assured with the people of Nkoranzaman that, since the Traditional Council has gotten a temporal office, they can now sit on all arbitration and other issues.



Nana Agyei also commended MUSEC for their good job and continue to protect Nkoranzaman.
