‘Security in Nkoranza South relatively stable and calm’ - MCE
Security situation in the Nkoranza South municipality of the Brong Ahafo region remains relatively stable and calm, Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the area, Diana Attaa-Kusiwaa, has disclosed.

She however, noted that petty stealing cases were still on the rise although; some suspects have been arrested by the police and arraigned before the law court.
The MCE, who was speaking at the Assembly’s first ordinary meeting, also disclosed that the Assembly has taken giant steps to resolve issues surrounding micro-finance operations in the area. The move, she said, is to avert a repetition of the DKM incident that hit the area some few years back.
Touching on job creation, The MCE also noted that, government was still committed to the creation of jobs for the teaming unemployed youth in the area.
She announced that initiatives such as the One District, One Factory, One Village One Dam, Planting for Food and Jobs, Planting for Food and Investment and Nation Builders Corp (NABCO) were all aimed at reducing rural-urban migration and also creating jobs for the youth.
She thus urged the people to have confidence in the government since it was bent on delivering on its promises.
She ceased the opportunity to appealed to all the Assembly Members to work extra harder to help foster development in the municipality.
