PWDs at Weija-Gbawe receive start-up items
Sixteen (16) persons living with disabilities (PWDs) have been presented with various items as, either start-up capital or boosters, by the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly.

The items presented on Tuesday, 23rd June 2020 is the second presentation to PWDs this year from the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF).
Items presented included deep freezers, ice chests, fufu machines, popcorn machines, laptops, and cash.
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of the Weija-Gbawe Municipal Assembly, Hon Patrick Kwesi Brako Kumor, accompanied by the Municipal Coordinating Director, Madam Mercy Quansah, advised the beneficiaries to take very good care of the items presented to them.
The Municipal Social Welfare Officer, Mrs. Nancy Pertey, said they should cultivate a maintenance culture so that the items will last long.
She said social welfare officers would be visiting them from time to time to monitor their progress.
One of the beneficiaries, Mr. Dzokoto, thanked the Municipal Assembly for the kind gesture and assured them of their commitment to putting the items to the intended use.
