MCE cautions Service Personnel

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Suame, Mr. Micheal Ofosu Boakye has admonished National Service Personnel in the Municipality to remain disciplined and always endeavor adhere to all work ethics in their line of duties.

The MCE was speaking at an orientation session for newly posted service personnel to the municipality.

The orientation was to help educate them on the importance of doing National Service and also to remind personnel of their work ethics.

He stressed on the need for them to be disciplined in all walks of life since being successful is not a nine-day wonder but with hard work and discipline.


Mr. Boakye further encouraged them to take a critical look at developing their personal skills and abilities and also take advantage of the Youstart program and other policies that the government has outlined in the 2022 budget and Economic policy as the country moves towards an entrepreneurship direction.

Also speaking at the event, the District Director of the National Service Scheme (NSS) briefed the personnel on some of the objectives of NSS and the National Service Personnel Association (NASPA) which is to bring National Service Personnel at all levels together in the interest of the scheme.
