Routine inspection is critical in every part of construction - MCE

A team made up of Engineers and Technocrats from Central Regional Coordinating Council and consultants accompanied the Municipal Chief Executive for Agona West to embark on an inspection exercise on the ongoing inner city roads which are being constructed in the municipality.

In an interaction, the MCE says, after the completion of the road it will ease the traffic situation in Agona Swedru and its environs.

A stretch of 0.34 kilometres road from Yaabem Paragon Street joining the Ahmediyya Street is progressing steadily as well as 1.4 kilometres Road from Sir Charles Roundabout - Good Friend Mineral Water - Genevieva lodge to the Greenland Hotel Street.


“Routine inspection is critical in each and every part of construction and guarantees that work being done goes as planned and accordingly to requirements, standards and regulations.’’

The contractors assured MCE and his entourages of quality, efficient work and promised to accomplish the project within time interval.

In other related issues the MCE visited landfill site at Agona Swedru to inspect the progress of work on the road network at the site.

Urban Roads Engineer says they will do the final filling this week so that the refuse trucks can make use of it to the main solid waste site.
