Jomoro MCE confident of achieving 2018 IGF target
The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Jomoro in the Western Region, Mr Ernest Kofie has expressed confidence that the Assembly will achieve its 2018 Internally Generated Fund (IGF) target if not exceed it.

This is because the Assembly, he said, had as at September mobilized Six Hundred and Forty Four Thousand, Seventy Eight Ghana Cedis (644,078.00) representing 85.5% of its target for the year.
“Revenue performance as at September, 2018 stood at Six Hundred and Forty Four Thousand, Seventy Eight Ghana Cedis (644,078.00) representing 85.5% of the estimated figure of Seven Hundred and Fifty Three Thousand, Two Hundred and Sixteen Ghana Cedis (753,216.00) for the year”, he added.
Mr Kofie announced revealed this when a Deputy Minister for Local Government and Rural Development, Mr Augustine Collins Ntim paid a working visit to the Municipality.
The MCE also disclosed that the Assembly as at September 2018, has also received an amount of Seven Hundred and Sixty Eight Thousand, Two Hundred and Ten Ghana Cedis (GHC768, 210.00) from District Assembly Common Fund (DACF).
He amount he added only represents 18.66% of the estimated figure of Four Million, One Hundred and Sixteen Thousand, Seven Hundred and Ninety Four Ghana Cedis (GHC4, 116,794.00).
He further touched on some developmental projects of the government including the construction of a 20-seater WC toilet with shower at Half Assini, Elubo, Tikobo, bitumen surfacing of Half Assini and Elubo town roads, . 3 –Unit Bedrooms for Circuit Supervisors at Bonyere and water system with overhead tanks at Sowodadzem, Takinta and Kengen among others.
The Assembly, he added, disbursed GHC123, 000.00 to people living with disability, adding that beneficiaries of the funds received equipment and materials that will enable them to generate income to become self-reliant.
