Abuakwa North MCE Pushes for Construction of All Untarred Roads

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Abuakwa North, Hon. Charles Darko Yeboah, popularly known as Hon. Ozay, has intensified efforts to improve road infrastructure in the municipality, with a push for all untarred roads to be considered for construction.

The development came to light during a road inspection exercise conducted by the MCE alongside the Highways Engineer to assess road conditions and identify areas requiring urgent attention.

During the exercise, Hon. Yeboah highlighted several critical roads that were not included in the initial scope of works and advocated for their inclusion to ensure that more communities benefit from improved road infrastructure.

Following the inspection, the Highways Engineer directed the MCE to submit a comprehensive list of all untarred roads in the municipality for further processing and consideration for construction.

The move is expected to support efforts to address road challenges affecting residents and improve accessibility within Abuakwa North.

The initiative highlights the importance of collaboration between municipal authorities and the relevant road agencies in identifying infrastructure needs and pursuing practical solutions.

Residents are hopeful that the proposed intervention will lead to improved road conditions and easier movement for commuters, businesses and communities across the municipality.
