The ceremony brought together community members and other stakeholders to celebrate the development of the durbar ground and recognise individuals who have contributed to the progress of the community.

As part of the event, the chief rewarded the community’s best-performing candidate in the 2026 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) with GH¢20,000 and pledged a scholarship to support the student’s further education.

The gesture was aimed at recognising academic excellence and encouraging other students to work hard towards achieving similar success.

In a further demonstration of support for community development, the chief donated furniture to a police charge office and a basic school to improve working and learning conditions at the two institutions.
