The education which took place at the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Royal-Priesthood Congregation, Abeka was to allay public fears of the adverse effect of the vaccine.

According to Emmanuella Obeng Koranteng, a Civic Education Officer (CEO) of the Commission in the Municipality, the exercise is part of the government's initiative to reduce the spread of the novel coronavirus in the country.

She advised the congregation to make themselves available for the vaccination and ignore what people are saying concerning the vaccine being a mark of the 666.

Ms. Koranteng emphasized that pregnant women cannot take the vaccine and reminded them to take along a valid ID card when going for the vaccine.

She then urged the people to still observe the COVID-19 protocols even after the vaccination indicating that the vaccination should not be a substitute for the observation of the protocols.

They further advised the congregation to eat well, drink a lot of water and take in many vegetables and fruits to boost their immune system
