COVID 19: TOSEN Development Association donates PPEs to community
The Tosen Development Association which consists of sons and daughters of Tosen, a farming community in the Asuogyaman District in the Eastern Region has donated some Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) to the Community.

The items worth ten thousand Ghana cedis was also presented to some institutions in the locality to help fight against the novel coronavirus in the area.
The donations which include 200 surgical nose masks, 350 pieces of hand gloves, 350 pieces of locally made nose masks, 10 Veronica buckets, 200 pieces of alcoholic made hand sanitizer 20 chairs among other PPEs was presented to the Chiefs and people of Tosen Community and other institutions like the Anum Salvation Army Clinic and Boso Health Center was presented last Sunday at the palace of the Nifa Division of the Boso Gua Traditional Council, Tosen.
Speaking in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com, Mr. Akyea Eklemet the Vice Chairman of the Association explained that they as sons and daughters of the community deemed it fit to contribute the quota towards the fight against the novel coronavirus and to make sure their motherland is secured from the COVID 19 Pandemic.
Educating the community on the virus Dr. William Gyau Dwamena urged the natives to strictly adhere to the social protocol laid down by the President to help contain the virus, "the measures include wearing of face mask, handwashing with soap under running, frequent use of alcohol-based hand sanitizer, frequent observation of social distance, avoidance of social gathering, these I believe if strictly observe will curb the virus from spreading".
Receiving the PPEs on behalf of the community Nenye Bafo Amoyaw I, the Kyidomhene of Tosen expressed their profound gratitude to the Tosen citizen for their kind gesture to see residence home protect themselves from this deadly epidemic.
On his part the Nifahene of Boso Gua Traditional Council and Tosenhene Oboasor Asare Kwadwo VII, who was overwhelmed with the donations promised to distribute the PPEs as planned by the donors.
He seized the opportunity to outdoor a five-member COVID-19 Pandemic taskforce committee who will be mandated to educate residence on the pandemic, receiving and distributing PPEs donations on behalf of the community as well as enforcing the safety protocols in the community.
