ARM pays an unannounced visit to Mponua

The Ashanti Regional Minister (ARM),Simon Osei Mensah paid an unannounced visit to Atwima Mponua District Assembly.

The visit was to ascertain for himself, the Sinohydro feeder roads within Nyinahin town Roads, Kyerayaaso-Forest Junction, Kwanfifi-Akonkye and Adobewura-Ntobroso; and also the continuation from Forest Junction to Sreso Tinpom, the Adupri Road construction; the status of the Cocoa Road from Amangoase to Adobewura and the Kotokuom steel bridge.

Mr. Osei Mensah was happy with the work of the Sinohydro team. He noted that, the Kotokuom steel bridge has been communicated to him and the Roads minister by the District Chief Executive, Mr. Isaac Kwame Asiamah and it’s part of the 100 steel bridges which are being built by the Mabey engineers.

He therefore tasked the coordinating director, Mrs Louisa Benon to collect all information with respect to roads in bad shape and present to him within a week.

The regional minister was accompanied by Mrs. Gloria Gambrah (P.A), Ing. Justice Koranteng Feeder Roads, Eben Bruce (Regional PRO) and some reps of media houses.

The district Assembly team was made up of the Coordinating Director, Mrs Louisa Benon, Emmanuel Antwi, Brian Afriyie, Emmanuel Zume, Otuo Acheampong Rhabbi and the District Information Officer.
