Atwima Mponua DCE embarks on a familiarization tour

Addressing the excited crowd, Mr. Marfo admonished the gathering to rekindle the spirit of communal labor. He advised them to make good, the yet to be opened Nursing Training School to benefit them and its adjoining communities. He donated 100 bags of cement to commence the construction of Kitchen for the school.
At Gyereso, Mr. Marfo reiterated his call for communal spirit and promised to help with the extension of electricity to some communities as he also provides street bulbs to avert security fears.
In addition, the DCE promised to complete the 3 Unit semidetached teachers quarters and name it after Nana Agyen Tawiah for his enormous role in the Gyereso community.
Addressing the request of the people at the gathering at Pasoro, the DCE admonished the community to up their game to stem the challenge of sanitation. He was of the opinion that the community must take their health seriously.
He promised to fix their broken water systems and charged the unit committees to work to bring changes in their communities. He also advised the gathering to bill users of the water system in a way to generate funds to better their lives and start other community initiatives.
At Nsuotem, the people bemoaned the dilapidated nature of the teacher’s quarters and some school buildings. They also asked for help to salvage their broken down water system.
Addressing their concerns, Mr. Marfo asked the community to initiate Community Self-Help Projects and stated that the Assembly is handicapped in addressing the concerns of all communities, however, when the communities start something, the assembly can take over.
He promised them 25 bags of cement to complete their teacher’s quarters and 3 packets of roofing sheets to finish their community center.
