Assembly hands over motor bikes to health workers

The Daffiama Bussie Issa District Assembly has handed over a total of 5 motor bikes meant to aid the operations of health workers for them to able to carry their day to day activities in the District.

In a conversation with Ghanadistricts.com, the DCE indicated that the motorbikes are 14 but at the moment only 5 are ready for handing over.

Mr Nadi said, this is part of the President’s commitment to promote and boost the health system in the country, and also to ease the work of health workers in the various Assemblies.

In a short address to hand over these facilities to the beneficiaries, the District Chief Executive for the Daffiama Bussie Issa District Assembly, Mr Nadi Imoro Sanda said that these facilities were secured through a heavy investment by government and the Assembly, therefore it behoves on them to justify the investment by putting it into good use.

According to him, the government together with the assembly spent a hug amount to complete the procurement of the motor bikes in the district.

He reiterated that with these motor bikes they should be prepared to assist community members in diverse ways which would be of interest to the entire community and the Assembly.
