The first sod cutting ceremony was performed during the erstwhile NDC-administration some few years ago. The project however, halted along the line due to lack of funds.
Speaking at the event, the DCE said the assembly has secured funds to complete the project. He thus charged the contractors to work assiduously to help complete the project on time.
The DCE also ceased the opportunity to distribute 350 dual and 200 mono desks to the school distributed from the District Development Fund (DDF).
He said the assembly will continue to provide quality education to the people, adding that the assembly will provide equal opportunities to support for students in the area to acquire the needed knowledge and skills.
He added that the Assembly was making frantic efforts to put up more of such classrooms to help boost education in the area.
