Birim Central MCE Presents STEM Equipment to Freeman Methodist JHS

The Municipal Chief Executive for the Birim Central Municipality has reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing quality education with the official presentation of STEM equipment to Freeman Methodist Junior High School in Akim Oda.

The MCE, accompanied by the Municipal Director of Education, handed over the equipment during a brief ceremony at the school.

He noted that the initiative aligns with government’s ongoing efforts to improve teaching and learning, especially in the key areas of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Teachers and students welcomed the gesture with excitement, expressing appreciation for the support. The equipment is expected to boost practical learning, stimulate innovation, and equip learners with hands-on skills essential for their future academic and career development.

In his address, the MCE urged both staff and students to make full and effective use of the new tools to ensure they serve their intended purpose.

He also stressed the importance of proper maintenance so the equipment can benefit future learners.

He further assured that the Assembly remains committed to providing schools across the municipality with the necessary resources to promote quality education.
