According to Mr. Agbenorwu the project was jointly financed by Ketu South Municipal Assembly and Pencils of Promise a nongovernmental Organisation (NGO).
The MCE in his address commended Pencil of Promise for their marvelous support “Previously, the pupils in the kindergarten used the computer lab as Classroom but today they have a suitable, comfortable and more conducive classroom for teaching and learning activities” he said.
He noted that, the ultimate goal of constructing the school block is to improve on the quality of education and make it accessible to every child of school going age within the Municipality adding that government is committed to giving quality education to Ghanaians.
He therefore appealed to the people of Amedzikope to support the head teacher and staff of the school to take good care of the facility and also endeavour to invest in the education of their wards.
