MCE commissions water project and donate set of school band to Avata Community

The Municipal Chief Executive of Ketu South, Mr. Agbenorwu Elliot has commissioned a potable drinking water project for Avata Community and donated set of brass Band to Avata A.M.E Zion Basic School in the Ketu South Municipality.

In a brief ceremony, Mr.Agbenorwu explained that the water project is to ease the challenge in accessing potable water since the entire community depend on a well.

It is also to achieve government’s policy of ensuring that by 2030 all people living in Ghana have potable water.

The MCE appealed to the residents and authority of the school to look after the project and make sure they use the water with care and turn off the tap when not in use to continue to conserve water and also promised to extend water to every corner of Avata.

The community leaders and the school authority of Avata A.M.E Zion expressed their gratitude and congratulated the MCE for such tremendous efforts and therefore promised to maintain the properties.
