The classroom block was constructed using the 10 per cent education allocation of the District Assemblies Common Fund (DACF), according to information provided about the project.

The intervention is expected to provide a more conducive learning environment for pupils and teachers while improving access to safe water and sanitation at the school.

The provision of the mechanised borehole will help address water needs, while the six-seater toilet facility is expected to promote proper hygiene and sanitation among pupils and staff.

The Member of Parliament for Ketu South, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has been identified as a contributor to the construction of the Akaglakope classroom block. According to the Ghana News Agency, Mr Seth Akli, Head of Planning at the Ketu South Municipal Education Directorate, acknowledged her support for the project, alongside other educational infrastructure interventions in the municipality.

The Municipal Chief Executive of Ketu South is Hon. Nicholas Kwabla Worclachie. However, no specific contribution by the MCE to this particular project was confirmed in the report consulted.

The facility represents an important investment in education and community development, with the potential to improve pupils’ learning experiences and support better educational outcomes.

School authorities and community members are encouraged to maintain the facility and use it responsibly to ensure that it serves present and future generations.
