DAFFIAMA: Two communities get mechanized borehole

Two communities at Daffiama-Bussie-Issa in the Upper West Region have benefited from mechanized boreholes to reduce the regular water crisis in the district.

The district assembly in collaboration with Community Water and Sanitation Agency has successfully installed two boreholes at Kpare and Tabiasi communities which were drilled but not completed some years ago.

The District Chief Executive of the area, Nadi Imoro Sanda, in conversation with Ghanadistricts.com, indicated that water is the most important need of the human life for endurance, in view of this, he took it upon himself to help alleviate the water crisis in the district.



The DCE said various water projects initiated would lead to sustainable supply of potable water to the residents in these communities, adding that he collaborated with Community Water and Sanitation Agency to drill the mechanized boreholes in kpare and Tabiasi which he properly commissioned.

He noted that the contractor is currently in the district drilling more boreholes which are at various stages and urged residents to give them the needed support and corporation to execute their work successfully.

He said even though other communities’ name were not mentioned, he has plans of serving them all, and asked them to remain calm as they strive to serve them better.
