Performing a sod cutting ceremony for the construction of a community-based health planning and services CHPS compound for the community, the Municipal Chief Executive, Anthony Avogbegbedor noted that the people have always wanted a health facility close to them, and this, is in fulfil
ment of that.

The CHPS compound he noted, would respond to their primary health care, improve maternal health delivery and serve as a major centre for first-aid health care.

He also assured of that the assembly would provide at least tricycle ambulance for the centre to improve transportation of patients from the centre to the Dzodze St Anthony Hospital, about 4 kilometers which used to be the source of health care for the people.

When completed, the facility would have a consulting room, male and female wards, office and sanitary facilities.
