Assembly-member supports needy but brilliant students

The Assembly Member for Penyi -Akpatoe Electoral Area in the Ketu North Municipality Mr. Ernest Ahiabli has extended a helping hand to some needy but brilliant students.

Some items donated include, trunks, toiletries, uniforms, chop box, exercise books, cutlery sets to help support their second cycle education.

In all, about eight pupils, four boys and four girls from Zukpe Junior High School received.

At a short presentation ceremony, Mr Ahiabli said the initiative dubbed ‘Back to School’ project, is targeted at helping brilliant but needy students in the area to help further their education.

He disclosed that it is his dream to keep supporting the needy in the society.

He added that; “Some few friends helped financially in making this dream come true and I am looking forward to doing more towards ensuring quality education in my area.”

The beneficiaries thanked the Assembly member for the kind gesture and further pledged to work extra hard in making the rationale behind the gesture a success.
