According to him, the nature of the work of the community health assistants requires touching base with residents in deprived communities regularly and this can best be achieved using bicycles to aid their movements.

The community health assistants are more into working to prevent diseases for which they have to do a lot of sensitization for residents in the communities, he stated.

Mr. Agbenuza made the appeal in an interview with Ghanadistricts.com after his outfit presented bicycles to some 15 personnel of the community police unit at the old assembly office in Dzodze, the district capital.
