DCE donates 100 boxes of streetlights

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Sekyere East in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Osei Adiyiah, has donated hundred (100) boxes of streetlights to Assembly Members in the District as the Assembly yearns to improve security in the area.

Speaking at a short handing over ceremony, the DCE charged the Assembly members to ensure that the streetlights are fixed at vantage points to ensure their intended purposes.

He advised beneficiaries to adopt good maintenance culture with regards to usage of the streetlights to prolong their life span.

Mr. Adiyiah indicated his desire and commitment to work hand in hand with the Assembly members to enhance development in the area.

The Presiding Member of the Assembly, who received the items on behalf of his colleagues, expressed gratitude to the DCE for providing solution to one of the main problems facing the district.
