The Minister, during his visit, charged the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly to continue with programs that reflect the wishes of the people thereby making governance accessible to all.
Mr. Dan Botwe, also held an interactive engagement with over 50 trader groups or associations at Kejetia, Central Market, Race Course and Nana Afia Kobi Market (Abinkye).
The traders articulated their concerns and the issue of individual meter systems featured strongly among others.
The minister was therefore joined by the mayor to inspect projects within the city to ascertain the extent of work so far and how he can possibly facilitate the ones that have come to a standstill.
Project sites visited were the new Administration Block for KMA, Krofrom market and Kejetia Redevelopment Project Phase II.
The Mayor of Kumasi Mr. Samuel Pyne assured the minister that the Assembly has not relented in their efforts of selling the government positively and are devising innovative ways of raising the Internal Generated Fund for development.
